On August 14 of this year I took a day hike up Blackjack Ridge Trail here in Washington State (trail #1565).  I took a lot of pictures, mostly of rocks and trees, and will be uploading more of them in the following days.  I'm mostly trying to avoid dropping 39 photos into your devwatch list all in one day. The hike was long and steeper than I remember.  It had just rained that morning, so all the plants overhanging the trail where wet and did a decent job of making my pants wet and muddy. It's already several months since my last update and I had less photos for you than I thought I did.  Since then I've had finals, Graduation, and cleaning up and moving out of the apartment.  Now, after several weeks of browsing job openings for computer people, most of which demand years of prier experience, I've decided to serve in the Navy for a little while.   I don't know when I'll have more photos to upload, but when I take some I'll try to upload them a lot faster than I have been.

I was going through my old photos to find which one's I haven't uploaded yet. I found a few that I found good enough to upload that I didn't thing where nice enough back in 2006 when I took them. Two of the uploads are more for humor than for art, so they went directly into my scraps.
